Thanks so much for Kim Yu-Na’s Gala Show Program cut. NBC didn’t air her performance here in the U.S. (nor did any of the several other NBC-affilliated TV stations that provided Olympic coverage this year) I wasn’t even sure if she attended, though I simply couldn’t believe that they wouldn’t air the Gala Skate performance of female gold medalist skater. I was sooooooo happy when I saw this was now available. I can watch Kim Yu-Na skate all day long…she’s amazing on the ice!

  Wow! This was 10,000 times better than the rather disjointed coverage of the Gala Exhibition aired by the NBC networks here in the Unitied States (not to mention it included all the skaters). I also wasn’t expecting the full (2 CD) program to be in English either, so was ecstatic when I realized this was the coverage from Canadian TV, since it featured two of my favorite Canadian ice skaters (Jamie Sale and David Pelletier) as commentators for the performances. So once again, let me express my sincere thanks for providing all these Olympic events for Kim Yu-Na.
  
  I’d mentioned in one of the Kim Yu-Na Olympic threads here that I also was quite impressed with Kim Yu-Na’s vocal talents. Since I just uploaded the the second CD (that featured Yu-Na’s Gala skate) and am about to upload the first CD, I thought I’d share the link to my MediaFire account folder for Kim Yu-Na (aka Kim Yeona) just in case any of her fans might be interested in checking out her vocals. I’ve only got two live performances for her…one a duet with Kim Taeyeon (So Nyeo Shi Dae) on a Korean TV special honoring Yu-Na, of the beautiful Taeyeon ballad “Can You Hear Me…? ~Deullinayo…?~” [Beethoven Virus OST] and the other is a solo of this same song from a 2008 Angels on Ice, after-skate performance…but I greatly enjoy both of her performances. Hopefully, when she elects to retire from ice skating, Kim Yu-Na will seriously consider persuing a singing career…I think she’s got the talent to become a shining star in that field too. ^_^
